AI in hospitality, travel app development and resort software

By , Founder & CEO, Apex36Updated

In short

Apex36 builds software and AI for hotels, resorts and travel companies: hospitality operations systems, travel app development and guest messaging, with AI in hospitality used where staff spend time reading and routing requests. For Korotek we built KoroCRM, which runs housekeeping, inspections, maintenance, lost and found and concierge for two luxury wellness resorts in four languages. An MVP or first workflow starts from $5,000.

AI in hospitality: where it helps staff and guests

Hotel and resort teams read all day: guest messages, maintenance requests, housekeeping notes and lost-item reports, often in several languages. AI in hospitality helps by sorting and drafting rather than replacing staff. It can classify a guest message and send it to the right department, translate and draft a reply for a team member to approve, turn a maintenance note into a work order with the room and priority, or suggest likely matches between a lost-item report and found items logged at the front desk. Staff stay in charge of what the guest sees.

Hospitality software development for resort and hotel operations

Generic hotel software rarely fits high-touch properties, where treatment timing, inspections and concierge requests sit at the centre of the day. For Korotek we built KoroCRM, a multi-tenant operations system serving Chivasom in Thailand and Zulal in Qatar from one codebase. It has five modules: housekeeping, inspections, maintenance, lost and found, and concierge.

Each property's data is isolated at the database layer, so one resort's records can never appear in the other's context, and fine-grained permissions decide what each role can create or change. Staff use it in English, Thai, Arabic or French. Concierge roll-out came with a training package of walkthrough videos and transcripts, so new staff did not depend on ad hoc explanations. We ran it as a monthly engagement from November 2025 to February 2026.

Travel app development

How we would build it. A travel app lives or dies on the moments when the traveller has no time: a gate change, a missed transfer, a hotel that cannot find the booking. We would build the first version around one journey, such as booking to check-in, with an itinerary that works offline, push notifications for changes, documents stored in the app and payments through a card-processing provider so card data never touches your servers. Supplier inventory and prices come from the booking systems you already use, through their APIs.

Travel software development company: what we build and what we don't

We do not sell a booking engine or a ready-made product. We build custom software around the systems travel businesses already rely on: itinerary and trip apps, operations tools for ground handling and transfers, guest messaging, and the integrations that move bookings between suppliers, your back office and your customers. If a product already does what you need, we will tell you and help you connect it instead.

Travel technology company or build partner?

Many searches for a travel technology company are looking for a platform vendor. A build partner fits a different need: your process is your advantage, and the products on the market force you to change it. We build travel technology solutions you own, deployed in your own cloud account, starting with one workflow or app and growing as it proves itself.

Built for PCI DSS and GDPR

Travel and hospitality systems hold passports, payment details and guest preferences. We build to the controls your team sets:

  • Card payments handled by a card-processing provider, to keep card data out of your systems and reduce PCI DSS scope
  • Guest data kept in your cloud account and region, with deletion on request for GDPR
  • Access limited by role and by property, with logs of who viewed or changed records
  • Data for each property or brand kept apart, as in KoroCRM's tenant isolation

What hospitality and travel software cost

A travel app MVP or a first hospitality workflow starts from $5,000, covering one core journey or workflow with accounts and a deployment you own. AI features, such as message triage and drafted replies, start from $8,000. More properties, languages and supplier integrations move the price up. Model and cloud costs are billed to your own accounts. See pricing.

How we would build it: travel apps

First version
one journey, such as booking to check-in, with an offline itinerary and change alerts, chosen in discovery.
Where it runs
your own cloud account, connected to your booking and supplier systems.
What you see
a demo and a written changelog every week.
What you own
the code, the app store listings and the cloud resources.

Frequently asked questions

Hotels and resorts use AI to sort and draft: routing guest messages to the right department, translating and drafting replies for staff to approve, turning maintenance notes into work orders and matching lost-item reports. Staff approve what the guest sees.

At Apex36, a travel app MVP starts from $5,000 for one core journey with accounts and a deployment you own. Offline support, supplier integrations and AI features add to that. You get a fixed quote in writing after a short discovery.

Yes. KoroCRM serves two resorts from one codebase, with each property's data isolated at the database layer and permissions set per role.

Only when it does not fit. KoroCRM is a multi-tenant CRM and property management system built for wellness resorts where generic hotel software did not fit their operations. Where your current system works, we build around it and connect through its APIs.

Yes. KoroCRM runs in English, Thai, Arabic and French, with text and data localised across the interface and the API.

Yes, as custom apps on top of the booking and supplier systems you already use. We do not sell a ready-made booking engine.

Through a card-processing provider, so card numbers never touch your servers. That keeps most of your systems out of PCI DSS scope.
