White-label development
White label web development for agencies
By Yash Soni, Founder & CEO, Apex36Updated
In short
White label web development means we build the software and your agency delivers it under your own brand. Apex36 works as your white label development agency for web apps, SaaS and AI features: under NDA by default, in your tools, and we never contact your client unless you ask. Engineers are billed by the hour from $20/hr, and you own the code and IP.

How white label web development works
Your agency wins the project and owns the client relationship. We do the engineering behind you: we scope the build with you, write the code in your repositories, and send you demos and changelogs that you can pass on as your own. Your client sees your agency's name on the work, the invoices and the updates. We stay out of sight.
Our white label terms
- NDA by default, signed before you share any client detail
- You own the code and IP
- We never contact your client unless you ask us to
- We work under your brand, in your tools: your repositories, ticket board and chat
- A weekly demo and a written changelog, sent to you
These are our default terms. If your client contract needs more, such as named-person clauses or data residency, we agree it in writing before work starts.
White label app development
We build the web apps agencies are asked for but do not always have engineers for: customer portals, dashboards, internal tools, booking and workflow apps, and SaaS MVPs. We also add AI features under your brand, such as search over a client's documents or an assistant inside their app. Our shipped work is on the web; for a native mobile app, ask us first and we will tell you plainly whether we can staff it.
White label software development for larger builds
Some agency projects outgrow a website: a multi-tenant platform, an integration with the client's ERP or CRM, or a data pipeline. For those we put a small team on the build, led by our founder, and plan it in milestones you can present to your client. If the client later wants their own team, we hand over documentation and a runbook through you.
Work we have delivered inside another company's team
We have worked this way before. Two of our platform builds were for the clients of another software company: we worked as part of that company's delivery team, and the end clients dealt with that company, not with Apex36. We also built a document RAG platform that Basira, an education company we work with, delivered to one of its own enterprise clients. None of those end clients is named here.
Choosing a white label development agency
Ask three questions of any white label partner. Will they sign an NDA before seeing your client's details? Will they promise never to contact your client? And who is accountable when something slips? Our answers: yes, yes, and our founder, Yash Soni, who leads every agency engagement and whom you can reach directly.
What white label development costs
White label work is billed by the hour at our standard rates: junior $20/hr, mid-level $25 to $30/hr, senior $30+/hr and DevOps specialist $45/hr, with a minimum of 80 hours a month. Once a project's scope is clear, we can also quote a fixed price for it. You set your own price to your client. See pricing.
