US B2B SaaS company (data pipeline): Company Data Pipeline into Salesforce case study
A re-runnable Apify pipeline for a US B2B SaaS company that sells to enterprise IT and engineering teams. It builds a list of companies with 1,000 or more employees, records the source URL and capture date for every field, and matches each company to the client's Salesforce Accounts without duplicates. Started October 2026; in progress.
The Problem
The client's sales team runs on Salesforce and needed a list of large target companies matched to its existing Accounts, with every data point traceable to where it came from. It also needed a build it could re-run each month, not a one-off list.
The Solution
Apex36 is building the pipeline as Apify actors written in TypeScript with Crawlee. The actors run in the client's own Apify account, with the code in the client's repository.
The plan: merge and deduplicate company sources, record a source URL and capture date for every field, match each company to the client's Salesforce Accounts, and produce Salesforce Data Loader files. Before any production load, the full Salesforce cycle (export, update by ID, rollback) is rehearsed in a sandbox and a pilot runs end to end. A later stage adds one verified contact per company, and a runbook covers the monthly re-run.
